Inside Job is this year’s Academy award (Oscar) winner for best documentary film. This documentary is about the true story behind the 2008 global financial meltdown and shows a different face of the United States economic system. Inside Job shows that there is not much of a difference between powerful economy and corrupt capitalist structure.

“Man can find meaning in life, short and perilous as it is, only through devoting himself to society.
The economic anarchy of capitalist society as it exists today is, in my opinion, the real source of evil”. (Albert Einstein, 1949)

“I, too, am in favour of abolishing large cities” (Albert Einstein, 1934)

This film should make us wonder if having the house and the car of our dreams is the way we are meant to be fulfilled in our lives, or is it just a lifestyle that people accept as a standard of living. Consumerism shades the value of life and attaches us to our desires and therefore to our limitations. Countries around the world are still struggling with the financial crisis that was triggered by Wall Street CEOs in 2008. Click here to watch the film.
